The Payment Due

While sheltering from a storm, travellers find themselves in an abbey besieged by a devil and his hell hounds. The abbess believes the devil desires a relic in the abbey’s keeping and sends her guests out into darkened corridors to fetch it so she can broker peace. However, it might not be the treasure the fiend seeks after all.

The Saddict

A deranged ghost longs for a body that will allow him to feel once again. When each host is killed, he possesses the nearest humanoid. How will adventurers react when one of their own is possessed and turns against them?

Bound by Blood

Beyond the shadowed curtain of forests primeval, amid the mist-cloaked mountains, an ancient evil is imprisoned. A powerful curse, paid for in the blood of heroes, binds the vampire tyrant known in legend as the Red Lady to the lone standing tower of her ancestral keep. Within this cage of cold and silent stone, the Red Lady waits, cursed to live forever in a twisted, monstrous form, hungering eternal.

All Along the Lychway

Dead branches snap under iron-wrought wheels that turn upon the narrow dirt road. Carriage axles shriek as adventurers wind their way through hanging trees all along the Lychway. Rarely travelled, this path leads to darkness…a foreboding place avoided by the sane. But few sane remain in Thornwood Hollow, following the curse of Ivanov, and it is said that the secret to breaking that curse lies within the shadows of Ivanov Castle.

Varolac

Under the crimson glow of a blood moon, varcolacs stir from their slumber to feast. Among the foul night-beasts which stalk the accursed corners of the world, the varcolac is an apex predator. Part bat, part wolf, and part man, these hulking monstrosities are swift on two feet, swifter on four, and even swifter still when they
take to the air on great leathery wings.

Daemonifer

The spirits of the Nine Hells are born without shape or form, wandering as amorphous spirits across the inhospitable landscapes until summoned or sent to other planes on behalf of their fiendish masters. Temporarily inhabiting the flesh of the dead in order to bargain, hoping to rise in rank and status and gain permanent, material form.
